What a great idea – three characters, three emotions and three different scenes – who could ask for more on their reel for promoting themselves and all can be put together in a matter of days! Everyone in this industry is trying to get roles they can put on their reel that will land them their dream role. The chance to actually sit down with Emon Hassan and come up with three different characters, emotions and scenes that would portray the work you want to ideally show Casting Directors and Directors etc., is a chance that’s not to be missed. The shoot day was so easy and relaxed. Emon has a fantastic way of really bringing a scene to life and captures the whole mood of the scene with such artistry and fineness.
Another great advantage to the shoot, is that Emon only needs to be there, so the shoot runs really swiftly and smoothly. This allows you are able to try the scene in many different ways without a whole crew waiting on you. This is definitely something I would recommend to anyone trying to put a reel together and it …is a quicker and easier solution then waiting around for production companies to send you material/clips that may not even be usable when you do finally receive it. I see this as a great opportunity to work with a fantastic, talented up and coming director in New York. I’m sure, without a doubt, that Emon Hassan will be making his mark in the film industry on both coasts before too long.”
